The R&D and business model developed by Agrasys is one in which external partnerships and collaborations play an important role.

Agrasys is a spin-off company from the CSIC (Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Cientificas), with which it has a general Research and Development Agreement and technology development and exploitation licenses.

In our R&D programmes, we have established several collaborations with research groups we identify as leaders in their field. In this way, we are able to profit from external expertise and research capacity and to respond quickly and effectively to changing R&D needs.

Such research partners include the Institute for Sustainable Agriculture, Cordoba; the Department of Natural Products, Plant Biology and Soil Science , Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Barcelona; the Food Technology Department, University of Valladolid and the Biofuels Group , Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Jaen.

At the level of product development and evaluation we have established collaborations and partnerships with several other European companies with joint interests in the AgriFood area. Such partners include Agrovegetal SL ; Saatbau Linz GmbH; Lantmannen Cerealia and ULICE Limagrain.

In business development, management and marketing, Agrasys benefits from close links with the Foundation Bosch i Gimpera of the University of Barcelona and with the Department of Marketing of ESADE Business School .
